The key secret strategy to growing your micro business fast

There are so many aspects of your business that all seem equaly important, as well as marketing strategies that are said everyone should use for their business.

The general theory goes something like this: you learn every strategy there is as fast as you can and then you implement all of them. You hope that at least some will turn out ineffective so that you can drop them and not pay attention to those who are saying you probably did something wrong, which is the reason why it didn’t work in the first place. Or, you go for the more “logical” idea; master one strategy at the time, implement it and then move on to the next. The only thing is, when you move on to the next strategy, you stop using the one from before and what’s the point of not using something you mastered?

Marketing doesn’t take care of itself over time, except word of mouth, but that’s not enough for any (micro) business. Especially if you want to grow, in size or in revenue.

There is something that all successful business owners do that is probably unknown to you. This strategy makes a huge difference in every micro business. Of course there is a strategy, how else would they find time to do anything else except marketing, and have a life, too?! Besides, no one is hung up on doing marketing or anything related that is just helping you grow your business. We all want to spend our time doing what we love, creating and, one of the main reasons we start our micro businesses, create time for ourselves and use it the way we want to.

So, what’s the strategy? First of all, you will need to learn more then one marketing technique and do them unless you hire someone to do it for you. Since you are a self-starter, let’s say you are doing everything yourself. At first, you will have to learn a bit about everything to be able to evaluate which strategies could be beneficial to your micro business. After you evaluate them, take your time to learn them and implement them. As time goes by, you will notice some results are better then others. The key to success isn’t to try to learn more about what’s going bad and do more of it differently, try to achieve better results with those (unless we are talking about the first few months). Notice which marketing techniques create the best resutls and then focus only on them. You don’t need to waste time on something that provides you with average or no results, in any area of your business, especially in the one that gets you customers.

Your tasks are:

  • evaluate marketing strategies for your micro business
  • learn those that might prove to be beneficial
  • implement them
  • over time notice which ones create the best results (should be 2 or 3, not more)
  • focus on what works and do more of it

Now that you know what successful business owners know, you have no excuses not to become one, too. The only guidelines you need is to focus on what works and do more of it. That way you will achieve great results and have time to do other things, too.
